Used Boats

I have been looking for a boat for some time now.<br />Have located a 1990 Dusky with twin 200 hp evinrudes mounted to a Dusky Drive. The boat is a w/a with a small cuddy cabin. I am planning on using the boat primarily in the gulf with maybe a trip or two out from Jax in the atlantic.<br />I would appreciate any comments on this setup.

I forgot to state the lenght, it is a 26 footer.

Dusky has a good reputation in south Florida. I don't know the "Dusky Drive" but two 200s on a 26' is a good combo. As with all used boats condition is more important than anything else - - - well except for one brand that I won't mention - - and I'm not really bashing them as I had one.

Dusky's are good boats that will last a long time if taken care of. That boat is more than enough to handle typical Gulf conditions. By the way, Dusky drive is just the name that they gave the bracket mounted on the transom that the engines are mounted on. I believe all Dusky's have a full transom with a bracket.
