Using DC Busbars

Currently I have one battery with numerous connections on both the positive and negative battery terminals.

There are actually three on each battery terminal; one for the trim pump, one for the stero amp, one for the MercCathode. Also, when the Corsa Captians Call was installed, it was installed to the starter on the positive side and engine ground on the negative side.

I would like to install dedicated busbars, one positive and one negative, so that I can only have one connection to my battery terminals and make the other connections to the bussbars. I would like to install each bussbar inside the boat back by the transom and current battery.

I was thinking of using the Blue Sea Systems 2307 bussbar with the covers. Is this a good idea or am I not using these for their intended purpose or could there be posible problems?

Here's a link to the product http://bluesea.com/products/2307

I think that buss is intended for the common (or negative) side only. If you use it on the positive side, how will you fuse each circuit? I've used fuse blocks like this:

This one looks interesting because it combines a negative buss with a positive fuse block:

Good question... Each of these circuits already have either a dedicated circuit breaker or fuse.
