Using Johnson gas tank with Force OB ?

Have 2 OB's (Force & Jonhson) and would like to use the Johnson gas tank with the Force motor. Presently the Force OB is used with a Mercury presureless (vent on cap) gas tank.
The Johnson's original tank has built in pressure (auto vent) My question is: If the Jonhson tank is used with the Force motor, can that pressure have a negative effect on the Force carburator of gas pump or fueling system ?

Thank you,

Unless your Johnson tank is one of the ancient two-line tanks, it'll work just fine. Modern OMC tanks aren't pressure tanks. They just have an automatic vent. Only those old two-line tanks are pressure systems.

Thank you for your feedback. The tank came with my 1981 Johnson, is a one line tank with automatic vent. But automatic means there is built up pressure when under the sun, and succion pressure when getting cold. I notice this when and if I open the cap to put gas in. In oposite the 1997 Force (Merc) tank has no pressure at all since it has a vent hole in the cap. So I am comparing auto vent pressure with no pressure at all ... simply concerned about any drawback on the Force's fuel system due to this pressure.
Tx and have a great day.

a gas tank is a gas tank. they can be used on all motors, just need the right motor end connection.
