ok so I have 3-4 cans of old poly resin that are probably 7-10 years old ....

I realize that I do not want to use this old resin for structural purposes but given the shelf life is about 9 months ..... anybody think this is a good ideah ?

also I am getting to the part of putting my transom together ... would just one layer of mat between the plywood be enough or do I need roving in there as well ? Also do I seal and then glass together or just do that at the same time ?

thanks for all the help so far...

Normally it would be hard by now, but if it's not, catalyze a small amount to see if it will. If it gets hard you can probably use it. It won't be the best stuff, but should work.

You can just use mat between the plywood.
