Using prop from '94 200 HP on a '99 200 Hp

I'm in the process of changing from my 1994 Merc 200 Hp outboard to a 1999 Merc 200. I was wondering if my old prop will be ok to use on the newer Merc. I don't have the prop info from my prop, as the boat is around 25 miles away. The outboard I'm installing doesn't come with a prop. Any advice is appreciated.

If the gear ratios are the same there shouldn't be any issuses
