Videos on YouTube always show using bolts in the heads to attach the chain to. Is this preferable to simply using the three eye hooks that are already bolted into the top of the engine ? Thanks!
Use the ones on the corners. The one in the middle in front on the thermo housing is just for lifting front of the engine when aligning the coupler while the rear mounts are solid.
Best way I found to lift motor in/out is with 2 one inch wide straps. Drape the straps under each manifold, bring up to center, and lift/lower. The good thing with the straps is you can slid the motor in either direction with a sight readjust
