I have a customer who wants more power form his 21 ft. Bayliner with a Volvo AQ125/270T. Does anyone know if a V-8 Chevy Volvo bellhousing will fit a 3.8 or 4.3 Chevy V-6? Since Volvo never put a V-6 in anything we are hoping this will work.

This would be the best way to up the power with out having to "stuff" a V-8 in the small engine compartment.

Please PM me if you know.
Thanks

Huh,..??..?? Volvo has been using the 4.3l for Years....

Btw,... A Chevy bellhousing bolt pattern is Always the Same, regardless of the motor...

It would not bolt onto a GM bellhousing. The AQ125 is a volvo motor.

You would need an entire drive train from a donor boat. New motor mounts, wrong gear ratio, etc, etc, etc,...

Tune it up and use it or buy a different boat.

Good luck!!
