V2100CC instrument panel & fuel gauge

I picked up a 99 Sea Pro over the weekend and the panel that the guages sit in is old, faded, and ugly.

Has anyone replaced the panel with a piece of billet or anything of the sort? I'm looking for some ideas!

My fuel gauge is also showing me empty but I have a full tank of fuel. Does anyone know what will need to be replaced to repair that little issue?

I picked up a whole panel and gages from eBay for under a $100 and I am going to replace the old wood panel with new FG and then cut it to fit the new set hopefully soon and for the gas gauge most likely it is your fuel sending unit it should be under the CC there should be a plate on top off the tank to access it good luck
