i have a 1985 v4 looper and i am looking to update the cowl cosmetically. i am considering buying a clean looking replacement cowl from a 1993 that would require a drive to check out. the seller does not have the lower cowl parts. do i need the lower cowl parts as well or will the 85 lower cowl fit? from online it looks to be the same part except that the 1993 uses spring clips instead of hooks to fasten. can i retrofit the hooks from my '85 cowl onto the 1993 or maybe vice versa?
