V6 Bleed Hoses

When replacing bleed hoses on a Merc. V6, can I use vaccum hose or is there a special hose required..........

The inside diameters are very tiny. Vacuum hose is way too big. I've never seen hose as tiny as bleed hose in anything else. You can get kits with pre-cut lengths, or bulk by the foot. Your only source may be a marine dealer.

It`s also a great Idea to spray some carb cleaner into the fittings when you change the hoses, they are known to plug up.
