V6 Mercury Questions?

I have a V6 Mercury and I am trying to find out what size carby I have. The serial number is WH 38 13218 on the top carby.could anybody tell me what horse power this is supposed to be? Also what jets are supposed to bge in it? Maybe even it's approx age. How can I find what size powerhead I have without the serial numbers. Ant help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Look on the cylinder block. The serial no should be stamped on it some where. Mine is on top towards the rear.

I found this number J01188 2 stamped on it, thanks for that, could anyone tell me What size it is and what year it was made?

That looks like a part number. Serial no should be 7 digits. If its a newer motor the first digit might be a letter.
Look for a round plug on top the motor.
