If I bypass the holding tank to discharge overboard will that keep my pump from working, I disconnected the holding tank line and run it straight to the lake side discharge, will that not create enough vacum for the pump to flush toilet HELP

Don't know. But I do know it will create a serious vacuum in your wallet.

With a vacuflush pump, it has to go through the vacuum housing first and then into the storage tank. The pump creates a vacuum into an empty tank and that's what pulls the waste into the holding tank. You can't go from the head directly overboard. You can only pump overboard if you are greater than 3 miles from shore (in any direction). It needs to be run through a macerator first as well.

so by me trying to bypass the holding tank I'm not creating a vacuum for the system correct and the pump will not work right

That's correct. The waste itself doesn't go through the vacuum tank....it's usually remote mounted. The vacuum pump pulls the vacuum from the back side of the waste tank. Your vacuflush head might gravity drain liquids overboard, but never solids. Like I said, you would need to be >3 miles from shore for that anyway

When you say 'lake side discharge', are you in fact trying to discharge into a lake? I don't know of a single inland body of water in which one can legally dump sewage from a boat. The laws making it illegal to do so have been in place for quite awhile.

Would appreciate some clarification concerning exactly where you would like to dump your waste.

Thanks for clearing that up. I've come close to posting a lot of negative things, about you dumping mini logs into the water :( . Things are cool now :)
