Replaced the distributor cap on my 1992 mariah 2350Z with a 5.7L Merc/GM.
The old cap didn't have a hose coming off the vacuum nipple and I can't find where on the carb I would attach it if I was to add one. Are marine engines supposed to have a vacuum advance hose? is that what you call it?
Thanks.

If it has vacuum advance, it is automotive distributor, and will cause fire/explosion. Is the carb marine?

A nipple on the cap? that is marine-nothing connects to it. Sorry, mis-understood.

That Nipple is the Dist.'s Vent...... No Hose Needed..........

Sparks Can't jump around Corners,..... That makes it Safe in a Fuel Vapor environment.....
