I just discovered one end of what I think is a vacuum line of some sort disconnected. The other end is attached to the center of the engine block on the throttle control side. I cranked the engine and while running could feel a vacuum being pulled on the loose end. Does anyone have any idea where the loose end is supposed to be attached? The hose is long enough to almost cross over to the other side of engine. I have gotten a lot of good advice off of this forum and I appreciate it. Could this loose line cause my wide open rpms to drop. This is a problem that I have been having lately. Please help me to find where this connects.

Well there is a hose that attaches to the bottom of the intake silencer on the back side, and most importantly a pulse hose that connects from the crankcase to the fuel pump diaphragm housing.See which one you think it is and post back.

The loose end of the hose went under the throttle cable and toward the front of the engine somewhere.

It goes to the intake manifold. There will be two hoses from the manifold that go into a small plastic fitting. The hose you found will go to the small fitting also.

Good luck!
