vacuum line to my airbox

i have a broken line rubber that goes to my airbox.i cant find it anywhere.does anyone know what its called. its on a 70hp johnson 1989 vro.its hooked behind the bottom carb.wgich is 1/4 inch fitting and on the air box it looks like a 3/8

That is a drain tube that goes from the air box into the crank case. It's for when you tilt the motor and fuel drips out of the carbs, it's funneled from the air box into the crankcase. The nipple it fits on is under the carbs. Since it's off you probably have a bit of a mess under the carbs.

ya there was alot of leakage there.the hose was not hooked up and dry rotted.where can i find a new one?

Try your local BRP Dlr or maybe NAPA.

do you know what size it is lokks like 2 different sizes on each end

Take the old one in and have them match it, if you don't have it then I think it should be 1/4" inside diameter.
