I have a 1980 Skeeter bass boat that I would like to sell. Can anyone tell me about what it would be worth(South Texas)? It is in good running order, but the gelcoat has seen its better days, due to its age. The motor is a 1980 Evinrude 175.<br /><br />2 year old Motorguide trolling motor<br />2 year old humminbird depth finder<br />All brand new gauges<br />Tandem axle trailer with spare<br /><br />I was planning on fixing it up(paint and carpet), but decided that I would like to try to find something a little newer. Would this extra work pay for itself? I am looking at probably $150 for the carpet and hopefully about $150 for the paint. I just don't want to put work into it that I will not get back out of it.
