A friend of mine has a 17' Lone Star "Medallion" boat he wants to trade me for some work. The boat has no engine and needs some TLC but the aluminum hull is in excellent shape. There is one small finger length dent about 1/32" deep on the hull up near the deck. It has the original steering wheel, windshield, and chrome (chrome needs replating) and the seats need recovering. The transome seems to be solid. I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark value of the boat. Oh yeah, it does have a so-so trailer.

Dan

I would not pay a lot of attention to anything by way of value estimates you get here based on what little you have told us. Value is very location and season dependent - - not counting year and condition. If you really want some meaningful input provide pictures, location and year of the boat.
