could someone tell me what a fair asking price would be for a 1952 5hp Seahorse would be. I have a guy wants to buy it but I want to make it fair for both of us. Thanks
To price on older outboard is difficult because of several reasons. The area of the country, condition of engine, is he a collector, and a few other reasons.
Around here that engine might bring somewhere between 100 - 200 bucks, depending upon condition. Sometimes you have an engine that someone really wants and the price might go up a bit. Sometimes the haggle factor comes in to play.
