Valve Lash Specs for a 92 Honda 9.9

As the title says, I had my 92 honda 9.9 in for a tune up because of weak spark, and very hard starting. I replaced the exciter coil, put in a new carb kit, etc... motor started right up and ran fine the first day, it sat outside for 4 days, went to start it and it took about 20 pulls(normally 2) and finally went.. but it was spitting and coughing out the carb. Called the mecahnic that i took it too and the only thing he did not check was the valve lash. it has been quite soemtime that it has been checked.

So Question.... what are the valve lash spec on this motor.. exahust and intake.

Anyone??? These would be the same from 92-97.. found specs for 01(.17mm for intake, 0.23mm for exhaust).. but diferent design... Local dealer wont give them to me.. they just say bring it in...

Don't think it's a valve lash issue unless one of either valve adjusting nut is completely loose, is fuel line & carb completely clean ?

Fresh Fuel, New carb kit, New exciter coil.... I need to check the Valve lash and don't have the specs... this is what i'm looking for. It was the only thing that has not been done to the motor... all symptoms are pointing to this. DO you have the specs??

Sorry, Honda is not my brand and dealers seems not very cooperative with clients, that's why I'm a Tohatsu fun lover. Most 4 stroke engines have an attached sticker inside cowl specifying valve lash, incredible your engine doesn't have one.
