vent hole in lower unit?

Is their possably a vent hole in the lower unit wear the 80-90 gear lube is ? Their is a little hole on the top and I have dots of oil coming out into the water from this hole.
Or do I have a leak some wear else, there is water getting into the oil also,maby a washer leeking on the drain and fill plugs?

Put some new washers on the drain and fill plugs and try it. You could also have it pressure and vacuumed tested.

Thanks I'll try new washers I'm thinking water is leeking threw the plugs and over filling the drive.

I believe you are referring to the drain hole, but post a pic to verify.

There may be oily water exiting there, which is unburnt fuel/oil mix. Are you sure it is gearcase lube? If so, may have a leaky shift rod seal or drive shaft seal.
