what do you think? I have been opening the vent screw all the way up when running my outboard. I hear just crack it open a little, open it halfway ...all the way....crack it when cold open all the way warm??? confuuuusing but useful to learn the correct way.

doesn't matter how far its open, your choice. just open is all, you need some air going in to replace the gas going out so you don't draw a vacuum on the tank.
