Verado 150 harness. Help for paddle wheel connector.

Hey all,

I have a Verado 150 with DTS whitout paddle wheel. I get speed and data from the GPS but I would like to install a paddle wheel to get extra data.
I am not sure about the connector coming from the engine wiring. Searching into the hull I found a connector coming from the engina but I am not sure this is the correct one to connect to the paddle wheel.
I enclosed a picture. Any help would be appreciated.

i have the paddle wheel. I’ll get a photo of it and wiring next time at boat.
I originally thought this did the speed indication exclusively but it turns out the indication on dash uses the paddle wheel only up to a certain speed, then changes over to a pitot from engine. This is mayne what you have here ?? Not sure. You can adjust the change over speed up to about 20 something mph from memory.
Or at least the smart craft seems to indicate this is what happens.

Yes those look to be the correct wire colors for the Paddle Wheel system as seen on the left side of the following installation manual for you, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/10...page=40#manual
