Verado and Seafoam?

Is there any need to run seafoam through a verado? Or can you with out damaging it?

My B-I-L has a 175 verado on a bayliner deckboat...not much usage on it. It sits MUCH more than it runs. I am going down to jacksonville this weekend to take it out with him (first time its been out in about a year!) and was wondering if I should dump a can in the tank...... Thoughts?

SeaFoam can't hurt it, but I would think that the Verado runs clean enough not to need an additive. If your boat sits a lot fuel can go bad and SeaFoam will help extend the life of the old fuel.
