Vhf / gps ?

Our radio has found it's way to the round bin. Long story not important. But we need to replace it and have noticed this VHF/GPS combo for around $220.00. I wonder how well it works and if any of you might shed some light on the idea. I have never owned a marine gps. Only in a phone. So don't know the terminology etc. I would like to know if it shows speed and if the 100 way points would be sufficient. I don't think we would use 100 way points but figured i would ask because I do know what they are

You all can forget this one. We ended up with a standard VHS instead.
