I have been having a problem with my Uniden MC535 lately. When I key the mike, I get a high pitched feedback noise from the speaker and am unable to transmit. Also, if I go to another channel, when I key the mike, the radio goes to 16 and I get the same noise. I can hear others fine, but am having trouble transmitting. To make matters more frustrating, it works sometimes just fine. The people at Uniden think it's a power problem, that all radios are programmed to go to 16 as an emergency if the power going to the radio is too low. I'm thinking it may be an antennae problem. Interestingly, I replaced a radio a year ago for the same reason. Any ideas?
