vhf problems

I hooked up a new vhf to my boat when i went to put the antenna on it stopped working i checked the fuse it seems fine could i hae done any damage when i hooked up the antenna that would stop it from working

Whats wrong with the VHF? Is it no power at all? Like it could be you just need to adjust the squelch or somthing.

no it doesnt power up at all

Use a Test Light or Multimeter to See Where the Power Stops.......
