vibration issue

i have an 1995 johns 115 2stroke and when at low speeds and am getting intermitet vibration thru the boat about every 3 seconds whats the problem

sound like your carbs need cleaning, removing the fixed jets an reassembly with rebuild kits. takes a special tool to remove the jets. can be made from a quality screwdriver.

would putting seafoam in the gas help?

no it maintains clean carbs, but doesn't clean dirty ones. sounds as if you are getting a lean sneeze, which means it's not getting enough gas thru the low speed jets. and they are not adjustable.

has the prop been damaged?
an out of ballance prop can do that.

is it hard to clean the carbs i have only done carbs on an snowmobile how difficult is it?
