Take a video camera and upload to a computer using windows media player but how would I compress the video to e-mail it? My Boss' daughter said she tried to up load it to you tube but was unable to and said the file is to big for email....

I will have the camera to upload and try this at work tomorrow.....

Any tips?

Re: Video to Computer Question

The free windows media encoder will convert most formats

Is it a DV cam or what is the format

It is generaly a LOT of work and time unless there really short videos

My ATI all in wonder will capture and convert on the fly with good results and i have a pretty big collection of portable movies

Try winZip. Your mail server will have a max size file limit. Videos tend to be large. Email also splits files into 32K segments and reassembles them when recieved. This can cause problems for large files.
