Vintage info on Evinrude 35 needed

I have a used Evinrude 35 which needs some maintenance. I plan to acquire a good service manual and need to know the model year of this OB. Model #35853R, Serial #E0002587.<br /><br />The lower unit had a lot of water when drained. If possible, please recommend whatever you feel would be the best service manual for dis-assembly, and repair, with appropriate illustrations and instructions. Thanks.

hello Jon here.. chk the oil vent and fill screws<br />if the nylon washer is missing , then probaly <br />found the problem jon>>>> ouy
