Vintage Johnson 10 HP Pullstarter

Have a 1956 (QD-17) Johnson 10 hp and am trying to get pull-starter rope to retract. I disassembled and was wondering if anyone has a step-by-step on how to put back together to get cord to recoil consistently. Thanks for any help. twick

The Seloc manual (John/Ev 1956-71) has good pics and text. You must have the proper 7/32" rope 6 feet long, regular 1/4" won't work.
