picked up a 1957 sportwin today and it came with the pressure tank and the controls . the steering wheel is in near mint condition, made by surf inc, madison wisc. the controls are made by elto. everything is there, steering cables, pulleys etc. is this stuff worth anything ...at all?? ( paid a lil more for this one than i wanted to, but the controls/steering and a factory ob stand ( honda stand), sort of justified the price . lol)

I would expect that ebay would get you a good price for part or all of that deal, nwcove.

+1. I would think you could get about $100-$150 for the complete set. Maybe post a classified on aomci.org, or c-list to see if you get a bite. Any pics of the new toy :)

If the "Elto" controls are simply the standard Simplex with an Elto badge, I would think those would get some interest.

In my neck of the woods the tank would probably bring $20-30. Cut the plug off and you can get at least $25 for that alone on e-bay. If the tank is sealed and functional, a user might be willing to pay $75.

Perko or Attwood wheels/drums maybe $50. Yours is not a common brand so maybe less.

The pulleys and springs would only have a market for a purist that wanted vintage. Don't try to use them yourself - they are brittle and may crack when used. I made that mistake myself. Current Perko pulleys are period design correct and alot safer.

I think the Elto controls would be worth more than all the rest if you can find someone that needed it.
