I used epoxy on my last boat. The catalyst/accelerator smelled a little bit, but other than that, it was a very easy product to deal with. I agree with many of you who say that polyester resins have worked for the past 30 years, and can be reused. However, I don't own my house, and I really don't want to have my landlords/roommates searching for an axe. I looked on uscomposites, and I can order vinylester resin for just a little bit more. They promise a superior product to polyester, which is fine and dandy, but I was wondering if the smell is going to be as bad as polyester. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, if you have any. Thanks.

It does smell different than polyester, but not better, it's fairly strong.

I sent you an E-mail a couple of weeks ago about giving you a boat, do you think you may want it?
I need to get it moved.

Actually, yes. Would you give me a call today? 425 280 4796. I don't need it, but I have a young couple up in Woodinville who want to take their daughter out and don't have the money to buy one. He already has an outboard, and I've been wanting to help him. I figured it might be you who would answer this, and I appreciate the information.
