I used epoxy on my last boat. The catalyst/accelerator smelled a little bit, but other than that, it was a very easy product to deal with. I agree with many of you who say that polyester resins have worked for the past 30 years, and can be reused. However, I don't own my house, and I really don't want to have my landlords/roommates searching for an axe. I looked on uscomposites, and I can order vinylester resin for just a little bit more. They promise a superior product to polyester, which is fine and dandy, but I was wondering if the smell is going to be as bad as polyester. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, if you have any. Thanks.
