I have a 1988 Smokercraft that is showing wear on a few of the vinyl seat cushions. Two of them have rips. I know I can get them repaired at the end of the season at a tarp repair shop($$$$), but any ideas on what I can do now so that they don't rip futher? Should I just get some seat covers at Wal-mart? These are the back to back type seats that fold down to horrizontal. Thanks you!

Re: Vinyl seat rip repair

I have used the kit sold at auto stores which requires an hot iron to cure the kit contents. If done exactly as the instructions state the results will be good.Charlie

Re: Vinyl seat rip repair

Would that same type of vinyl repair kit work on a bimini cover? A storm came through the other day unexpectedly and put a 3" rip in the bimini near the windshield. Thanks for any info!

Chris
