Vip - Company Sold - New Owners

I went looking to VIP for replacement gaskets for my 2002 Bay Stealth today and discovered they have ben sold. The new owner is CADDO Boats. I was told they will begin production again in a couple of weeks.

Are they still going to be VIP boats or will they take on the Caddo name?

Not quite sure if they will retain the name. I've got an email into them in hopes of obtaining some replacement gasket material for the anchor and fish boxes. If I get a reply I'll ask about the branding.

I did get through to Caddo and asked about the branding. Seems they bought the VIP name, along with the designs and different brands, but did not buy the assests or liabilities. He didn't go into much detail, but did say they would be manufacturing some of the VIP models with some changes.

He could not help me with the hatch gaskets so I'm still trying to find those.

You might do a search for VIP Dealers and give them a call. Might have some in stock at one of the closed dealerships. Are these Deck hatches? What size? You got a pic of the hatch area that needs the gasket?
