Got to do some work on my boat yesterday, took a electric heater down with me. I am glad I got it shrink wrapped now. I got to install all my Blue LEDs in the cockpit. Also changing out lights in the cabin with LEDs.

It was good to see her again.

I'm really liking the idea of LEDing up my cockpit lights. Does your Prestancia have they typical Doral transom type light fixtures throughout the cockpit? What kind of LED's did you use? I got a sweet LED assembly for my b-day in Nov. for my galley to install and would like to get all my 12v lights switched over ^^

Yea those are the lights I have. I got my LED replacements from West Marine. They are the West Marine brand and are the same just LED vs. Bulb. I put some blue LED's in my Arch and it turned out nice.

No, I actually replaced the whole assembly, West Marine had the new assembly in LED for $7 or so. Turned out nice.

Went down to the boat again today, and replaced the parts I got for the companionway door.

Now I have to wait on my tax refund for some more boat money. I am thinking of getting a cabin enclosure from a gentlemen in Canada with frame. He quoted 3700.00.

Ahh, i getcha. Yeah, you really need those tops, good at night when the dew is falling and with screen during the dreaded mosquito hour. It's an area of the boat that's just great for entertaining or just chillin ^^ Especially with some cool blue LED's at night

Re: Visited My Boat

Went up to the PPYC yesterday to visit and clean the snow off the Cavalier as well as spend some quality time with her. Dang, I can't wait for spring >.< Had to park at the front gate cause the snow's to deep to drive back there in, but the Crown Vic was clean so thought I'd share some pics (boat n car)

Holy cow.... I don't know how you guys do it.... sitting all winter looking out your windows at a boat covered in snow.... how depressing. I was all depressed just reading this thread and looking at the pics and I don't even live up there! Keep your heads up, gentlemen! Spring is right around the corner! Stay strong! Go and visit her, if you must. Tell her how much you love and miss her... how she seems to really look so very happy when afloat.... Man, you guys are killin' me...
Okay. I'm fine now..... anyway, not too much going on out here either. If I could only go into my back yard and sit in my cabin, listen to some good tunes, and drink a cold one while she's on the trailer. That'd be awesome...

G'Day Seamonkies,
Your right, it is depressing listening to the weather over there...
I try to help them through with some nice summery photos of the boating lifestyle in Sydney Harbour at the moment.
We did have a strange weekend though, seaweed everywhere at every depth... never seen that before, even after a huge storm it only lasts a day not 3!

Re: Visited My Boat

For the most part, it is different kind of light. By that I mean it puts off a different type of white. They work fine for me, also they use a fraction of the Amps.
