Voltage regulator died. Troubleshot with ac multimeter at two yellow wires at about 1500 rpm - puts out 32 volts.

So I ordered a OEM 0585219 RECTIFIER & REGULATOR

What came was a 0439561 which is evidently the replacement part. My problem is the existing regulator has two yellow, one grey and another greyish wire and the red.

The new one only has one grey wire.

Now please understand I'm color blind and greyish could be purple for all I know. My point is the old one has five wires and the new one has 4. What do I do?

First off find somebody who isn't color blind and compare between old and new. If the new one doesn't have a purple wire, don't worry. The new ones don't use the purple wire.
