Just a quick question to any one who may know a little bit about a 68 johnson 100 hp v4tl-14b. Is it possible that the voltage suppressor will prevent me from getting a spark at the pulse transformer? I have replaced the stator, distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires and still I can not get the spark to jump from wire off of the pulse transformer to engine block. Am I missing something? It is frustrating the hell out of me. Is there some way to test this? Or could it be the puse transformer itself? I do not know where to go from here so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
