Newbie here looking for some advice. I have a 27' Sport fisherman, 351w PCM with a 270 outdrive. Its making all sorts of noise, sounds like knuckle joints are rattling, the power lift doesnt work and its the old style propeller setup. I dont have a whole lot of money to put into the outdrive, it will have to be a used unit. What is the best bang for the buck? I dont want to recut a different bracket in the transom. There is a 275 in great shape that is local for about $3oo with stainless wheel. Any advice is welcome.
