Well finally happy enough with the motor swap from the AQ131D to the AQ260B I have now all is well there, however I've another snag. I've always had a runout on prop shaft ie it's bent, so this winter finally found a cheapo on ebay with no runout complete with wrong ratio gears and bearing housing. I asked the shop here to press off the 2.15:1 gear and housing from the straight shaft and put on my old 1.61:1 gears and bearing housing from my old bent shaft. He put the right gear on but the wrong bearing housing. He did put in the shim pack that came with the "new" bearing housing. Question is if the "E" and "F" stamps for tolerances on the housing is different but it's shimmed properly, does it matter or should I just use my original with it's shim pack? The two have different tolerances stamped on the bearing housing than the lower gear assembly "E" and "F" values the gear bluing test still shows ok gear contact. Am I barking up a wrong tree? Would rather use "new" bearing housing, it's in way better shape than the one I had. Re sealing this leg as it leaked water into oil last run of the year. I'm using the VP 773162408 English 06-2003 manual for this rebuild
thanks in advance
