Volvo 3.0gl WOT RPM Range?

Can anyone please tell me in what range my volvo 3.0gl should be running at WOT, I am running 5600, and i was told by some that that is normal, while others are telling me that is too high. I have been considering a change in prop to bring it down a notch, but before I do that I want to see what is recommended.

Ayuh,.... You don't mention the Vintage,..
But,...
3.0l motors have been rated from 4200 to 4600,... to 4400 to 4800rpms over the years....
5600rpms will blow that motor in No Time....

4200-4600

Check your tach for accuracy, because you can't change the prop that much.
