volvo 4,3 Carb- Update

Hi Guys,

i'm from Germany and i have a question about calibration Edelbrock carb 1409 on an non Vortec Volvo 4,3 GL since 94'

things i have changed on the Engine

Edelbrock Performer 2111
Edelbrock 1409 with Calibration Kit 1485
4 Hole 2 " Edelbrock Phenolic Heat Isolator

The Engine runs well in idle and open throttle, but when i push down the throttle very fast,..i have a hole before the Boat go to plane.

I think, i must change the jet's or Rod's and i asking for help.

Hi Frank, I am Mart from Holland

I do not have an answer for your problem because I have the same problem, have the same engine as yours, I think we have to find the problem in the prop(s) have a volvo 290 dp drive.
Maybe your problem is solved now mines not yet.
