Volvo 4.3 GL - water in oil

During this end of season winterizing I discovered that the oil in my extractor pump was milky. A couple of seasons back I had an impeller issue and over heated the engine on the trip home. But when the dealer replaced the impeller he didn't mention any water in the oil.

What are the various causes of this?

There is milky oil in the bilge which leads me to believe there is a leak or a crack somewhere but I haven't found it yet. I replaced the oil and ran the engine again with the same milky result.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
v.

More than likely a cracked head or blown head gasket. Not a fun repair..Good luck

Have you seen this before acbrian1? I'll look around the heads to see if I can find the leak.

They didn't think too much about engine access in the design of my 94 Glastron Ski n Fish. I was shocked when I found out where the oil filter was.
