Hello, I am a new member to this board and would like to ask if anyone has or knows where I can get a bellhousing for a AQ 209A (GM 350). Thanks for your time.
Check at your local Volvo dealer or even ebay. Those bellhousings were used on all the old style Chevy 350 blocks with a 12 1/2" flywheel. <br />Something from the AQ-200, 225, or 260 series will all work. Even the early V6 used the same one.
Any of them designed for a small block Chevy V8 or V6 will work. The newer ones are designed to go over the 14" flywheels, but will also work on the older engines with the smaller flywheels. <br />Like I mentioned any of the AQ series 200, 225 and 260's will work. Doesn't matter if the drive is a 270, 280, or 290, they all work.
