Volvo AQ125 motor mount/listing

I have a Volvo AQ125/270 on an '85 Capri. The rubber bellows broke between the exhaust manifold and the tube that goes to the outdrive. When I went to replace the two tubes do not line up by over an inch. When I look at the front of the engine the FW cooling tank is not level, nor is the carburetor. It appears the whole engine is listing to the starboard by 10-15 degrees. Has anyone heard of this? How do you adjust the alignment of the engine?

1. Remove drive
2. Remove engine
3. Fix rotted stringer
4. Transom probably rotted too, fix that

....and in classic british motorcycle manual fashion...

installation is the reverse of above.

Do you even have engine mounts on the sides of the engine? If not, it may not be a transom problem.

The only motor mount on this is from the transom/outdrive. There are no motor mounts in the front or sides, it is hung cantilever from the back.

Has anyone else run into this, know how to adjust the engine so it is straight or where to take it to get it fixed in WA?

The only motor mount on this is from the transom/outdrive. There are no motor mounts in the front or sides, it is hung cantilever from the back.

Then you need a new mount on the back. I would bet if you look, the rubber pad for it is probably missing.

I don't see how the motor mounts except in the outdrive. Are you saying there is a rubber mount inside the outdrive that holds it in place? If so, how do I get to it?

I've not replaced one of these myself, but I think this is the part you need.

My guess is you'll have to pull the engine.
