I have just installed a rebuilt shortblock in a 2003 5.7Gi-C.
It runs fine on muffs to any RPM.
On the sea trial it did not develop enough power to get on plane.
I have solved a fuel pressure regulator problem I found, but have also been checking out the fuel pump.
This has the regular fuel cell with a lower pressure pump and a higher pressure pump, on this PFI engine.
I have the proper pressure on the high pressure side -- 50-60 PSI at idle

My question is this -- What pressure should you have on the outlet of the lower pressure pump?

I have the EFI diagnostics manual and that pressure is not really given that I can find.
I get 20 PSI with the engine running at idle.

thanks
