Volvo impeller

I am having trouble finding parts locally for the annual maintenance of my Volvo 5.7L SX outdrive. All the local dealers are out of business so I need to order on the Net. My question concerns the impeller. When I had the annual service done last year I bought an extra impeller for emergencies. When I pulled the old impeller out it is approximately twice as deep as my spare. I went to West Marine today and the impeller that they showed me is the same thickness/depth as the OEM from the dealer which is not deep enough for my impeller housing. Can anyone give me the correct part number either OEM or Sierra? Unfortunately the boat is 350 miles away so I can?t pull a part number off the old impeller.

Volvo part number 3862567 approx 1 ?? depth needs to be twice that.

Try eBay. Seach for an impeller for a volvo. There are a couple of guys there that really can help you find the part you need. Just a thought....

The Volvo part number for the impeller kit is 21213664. It's going to take a Volvo dealer to get that part. Too new for aftermarket to clone.

Here is where I bought the Volvo impeller kit for my boat: http://www.marinepartsexpress.com/vp_sch_fs.html

Click on "GAS" and then find your engine from the huge list and then click on it. It'll pull up other options and you'll probably go to "cooling." There should be some exploded parts diagrams with a part number list below the diagrams. Copy the part number and then past it into the search window at the top of the screen and you'll get a price on the item.

Thanks for the part number Don. I have noted it in my owners manual. I would love to buy from my local dealer unfortunately all the local dealers have gone out of business. I always shop local if I can.

The impeller and a spare have been ordered. Why is it that every Volvo I have owned requires the $50 impeller and not the $25 one? Now to find some Volvo oil gear lube and filters.
