volvo outdrive compatibility

I have a volvo DP-D1 duo prop outdrive. Anyone know if I can bolt on a DP-S to my existing transom shield/assembly? Or if there are any other DP drives that will. The DP-D1 is impossible to find reconditioned and a kings ransom new.

Post this in the Volvo Penta I/O forum and you probably will get an answer

Nope, completely different types of drives, and transom shield.
