I made a simple puller, all thread and a piece of pipe. Cheap & easy to make.
1/4" all thread, screw the all thread into and through the pin, with just enough sticking through to get a nut and flat washer on.
Flat washer must be smaller diameter than pivot pin so washer will go "out" the hole with the pin.
So now you have all thread sticking out of the hinge on the outside , place a short length of pipe over all thread, the pipe must
have a large enough ID so the pin will fit inside pipe. Then a flat washer over end of pipe, washer must be big enough to NOT
fit inside pipe. Then a nut. Tighten outer nut and it will suck the pivot pin up into the piece of pipe.
Does that make sense? Do you understand it? I am HORRIBLE at explaining things with a keyboard!

If the pin doesn't pull out then you can try heating it up with a torch. Heat the housing around the pin, don't direct the heat
right at the pin itself. Cast aluminum expands nicely when heated.
