Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to start troubleshooting? I have a 2007 3.0 litre GLP-E with 106 total hrs, I was changing my oil & filter when I noticed that my oil was very milky looking. Here are some facts that I know for sure: The engine ran fine when I took it out of the water after summer, the engine has not been run hot, the water pump impeller has no damage & the oil level was not high on the dipstick ( meaning if water was getting in, it's not filling up the oil pan, at least not yet). One last thing, last year was the first time the boat remained in the water the entire summer. Previous summers it has always been garaged after use. Any expertise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ayuh,.... Take it out, 'n Run it....

If the oil level ain't Rising, it could very well be abit of condensation yer seeing....

Thanks for the info. I'm really hoping that condensation is the culprit. I'm not saying the Head isn't cracked but I would be extremely suprised if it were, as I have always done the maintenance & kept it in my garage.

Sucked all the oil out, removed the drain plug from oil pan just to get every little bit out, reinstalled and changed filter & put fresh oil in. Ready for the water! Went out & put more than three hours run time on in one day & had no issue with water in the oil. It was condensation, what else could it have been? Thanks for your help folks. One last question: what brand engine is my 3.0 litre volvo? Is it really a Volvo or a Ford or chevy engine?
